Guru Puja Tsog
Guru Puja or Lama Choepa (skt) is a heart practice in the Geluk tradition of Tibetan Buddhism. It involves invoking the blessings and inspiration of our spiritual teacher and all the holy beings and great saints who practiced and achieved realizations, all the way back to Shakyamuni Buddha.
Along with sacred chanting, we make offerings, purifying our minds and make requests to the lineage of Lamas. This powerful combination of practice has a special quality to awaken our hearts more quickly into the beauty of wisdom and compassion.
Whether you are familiar with the practice or not, feel welcome to come. Experience the power of group chanting and meditation practice combined with the motivation to free all beings from suffering, to open your heart.

Pilgrimage to the” Heart” of the Himalayas as a Transformative Spiritual Practice
Lawudo Cave and Retreat Center, located in the Himalayas in the Solu Khumbu region, is a magical place where Kyabje Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the Spiritual Director of FPMT, engaged in deep spiritual practice spanning 2 lifetimes. Through stories and a slideshow Ven. Angie will share some of the special history of Lawudo and Lama Zopa Rinpoche’s connection there, as well as the highlights of how pilgrimage becomes a transformative spiritual practice.
