Dive into the world of Buddhist thought with us as we explore the fundamental teachings and philosophies of the Buddha. From an understanding of what mind is, to a way of living that leads with compassion and wisdom, comb through 2,600 years of knowledge passed down through generations, all around the world.
For two days at Pamtingpa Buddhist Center we will be welcoming Venerable Thubten Kalden to explain some of the Buddha’s teachings, practices and understandings of the nature of reality, the art of meditation, as well as the ways we interact with the world.
A student of Lama Zopa Rinpoche and a well-travelled practitioner, Venerable Kalden has been offering service, hosting classes as well as retreats at centers all over the world. We have a rare opportunity to hear from this seasoned practitioner exactly what Buddhism is.
We will be having a potluck lunch, so bring your favorite dish!
Please arrive 15-20 minutes early to settle in before the retreat begins.
